The Last Tour of Kelwort Castle eBook Paul R Hardy

The tourists came to the castle to learn about its history. But then the war began – and they became its history.
As the cheerful tour guide leads them round the castle, the tour group doesn’t know that a nuclear war is about to obliterate their world. But hundreds of years later, archaeologists from another universe have pieced together their story from the traces they left behind.
The castle held many historical lessons for the survivors, and the tour guide delivered them all with a smile as she led them round the old fortress. But did the tour group learn from that history in the struggle to rebuild after the war, or did they repeat the mistakes of their ancestors and doom humanity to extinction?
A novella of 17,500 words.
APOCALYPTIC TALES is a series of shorts and novellas about the end of the world. Because somewhere in the multiverse, a world is always ending…
The Last Tour of Kelwort Castle eBook Paul R Hardy
This is actually my second book by Hardy, my first encounter with his writing was his book "The Last Man on Earth Club" (which you definitely should read). Its not as long, but Hardy does a very good of developing the characters enough to draw you into the book. Honestly, with the (deliberate?) foreshadowing in the first half of the book, you can pretty easily figure out who the last Earl is. But that doesn't stop the story dead, rather you want to understand what happened after the tour.Bottom line: it's $1, it's 70-something pages, and it is a quick and entertaining read. So why haven't you downloaded it yet?

The Last Tour of Kelwort Castle eBook Paul R Hardy Reviews
A good read. Expands the Last Man on Earth club universe.
Worth the time and money if you like the other book. Not sure if it stands up on its own. But then again you really should read The Last Man on Earth Club, so get them both and enjoy.
I like the way the author kept switching from the present, then switching to what evidence was available about what happened there at the castle.
